Obama. The first tech-president.

So we've finally elected a president who is modern.
Last night Ulf Hjertonsson,
Consul General of Sweden, in New York,
hosted an event where we discussed what effect Obama's campaign
might have on marketing communications going forward. Alan Rosenblatt,
www.americanprogress.org,
was our key note speaker.
You can read his notes on

His ponytail visible in the left hand corner of the picture.
Ulf Hjertonsson is the gentleman in the middle, between myself, to the right,
and Sven-Olof Bodenfors, to the left in the picture.
Thanks Patrik Andersson for taking the photo and making sure the background is sharper than we are.
An old trick to hide wrinkles I guess.
www.patrikandersson.com for pictures of more famous people, in focus.
Anyway, Sven-Olof, and Calle Sjonell from BBH plus
myself formed a discussion panel on the subject.
We had a lively and interesting conversation
between us as well as with the highly knowledgeable audience.
Pia Grahn Brikell from the Swedish Advertising Organization (Reklamforbundet)
moderated the discussion wonderfully.
Thanks Jonas Hellman@unitedminds.se for inviting us.
I reckon we all had a great time.
At least I did.
Obama is energizing.
