a day at the storm king

Art museum in the open.
No risk that anyone would walk away with the art though.
Gigantic sculptures by Alexander Calder and Roy Lichtenstein,
just to mention two household names.
Last time I was there the trees were naked, the grass brown,
the sky gray, the air a little hazy.
My camera battery gave up before I started.
I had no reserve battery with me.
I regret that. I got no pictures taken.
The art seemed much more mysterious then
compared to last weekend when the sky was blue and the clouds puffy and white.
Almost rendering the art as over-sized toys strewn about the landscape.
But the camera battery was charged and ready.
The red thing in the center is art.
