evening rush in new york

A face in the crowd.
Penn Station: 500,000 people per day.
Grand Central: 700,000 people per day.
On average.
The people who feed the city, and feed off it.
Rushing in to the city early in the morning and throughout the day.
Rushing back at night.
Cursing over the delays,
the apologies for the inconvenience.
Pushing down the stairs to the platform.
Must get on the train first.
To get a seat.
Tired.
