a favorite food place

Nice Green Bo, on 66 Bayard Street in Chinatown, New York City. Great dumplings. Fresh food in general. A touch of Schezuan and a bit of Shanghai. Not the typical greasy stuff although the menu reads as most others. The room is just as ugly as most small China food joints most everywhere in the world. New York's unfriendliest waiters, which says a lot, consdering the stone faced, over stressed (over stressing to turn table around as quickly as possible during lunch hours) and generally unfriendly wait staff in most Chinese restaurants in NY. But who cares. The food is great, portions large and the tab is small.
